Vikki Lam MArch

Vikki Lam is an Architect with extensive international experience delivering residential, commercial and mixed-use developments across the UK, Australia and China. Having joined MCL Architecture following completion of her Master of Architecture at the University of New South Wales, Australia, she brings a broad understanding of architectural design, technical coordination and project delivery across a diverse range of scales and sectors.

Her experience spans the full design process, from early-stage concept development and masterplanning through to detailed technical design and construction information. Vikki has contributed to a wide variety of projects, including large-scale urban regeneration, high-density residential developments, commercial buildings and complex refurbishment schemes, giving her a well-rounded understanding of design, planning and technical delivery.

An advanced Autodesk Revit user, Vikki plays a key role in the development and coordination of Building Information Models (BIM) for complex multi-unit new-build and retrofit projects. She works closely with structural, MEP and specialist consultants to produce fully coordinated architectural information, ensuring technical accuracy, efficient design coordination and high-quality project documentation. Her strong understanding of BIM workflows enables the delivery of robust technical packages that support successful procurement and construction.

Vikki has a particular interest in sustainable architecture and believes successful design should respond holistically to environmental, social and commercial considerations. Her technical expertise is complemented by excellent visual communication skills, using advanced rendering and visualisation software to clearly communicate design intent and support informed decision-making throughout the design process.

Known for her collaborative approach, attention to detail and proactive problem-solving, Vikki is an integral member of MCL Architecture’s technical delivery team, contributing to the successful coordination and delivery of complex projects from concept through to completion.
