Exeter House presented a unique opportunity to facilitate an apartment building in Ealing by utilising the air space above existing garages. The client's vision aimed to create modern living spaces while ensuring that the existing garages remained accessible throughout the construction process. Our design approach focused on seamlessly integrating the new apartments with the existing structure, ensuring a harmonious transition for both residents and garage users.

In our mission to create an exceptional living environment, MCL Architecture led the technical design for the development of nine contemporary apartments above the garages. We crafted a scheme that prioritised both aesthetic appeal and functionality. Our design included clever layouts that maximised space and light, ensuring each apartment provided comfort and style while complementing the existing garages below.

Exeter House now allows residents to truly live in a thoughtfully designed space. Despite the challenges of maintaining garage accessibility during construction, our team successfully delivered the scheme by coordinating closely with all stakeholders and addressing any logistical hurdles. This project not only added quality housing to the area but also ensured that the existing community remained intact and functional, creating a blend of modern living within an established environment.
